AQUAFORTE PRIME DRUMFILTERS & BIOCHAMBERS A great addition to our drum filter range! Professional PP drum filters with advanced controller. Suitable for gravity or pump-fed installation. In pump-fed setup ±30% less flow. Installation height 12cm above water level. Equipped with powerful 5 bar stainless steel pump and extra gutter flush. The gutter flush can be adjusted manually by means of a valve. Stainless steel sieve panels of 120 microns ensure a good flow and provide the biofilter that comes after with the essential carbon sources that are often too low with very fine filtration (< 80micron). The controller is very easy to use. Rinse level and dry run level are adjustable by sensor with measuring pins. The rinsing time is adjustable. Sockets for drum motor, rinse pump and circulation pump. Standard equipped with dry-run protection of the circulation pump. Manual flushing possible with push button. The PP Biochambers are specially tailored for both drum filters. They are very easy to assemble with flexible couplings. The biochambers are equipped with rubber membrane aerator(s) and PVC connection 20/25mm for the air pump. The grids in the biokamers have a gap opening of 8mm (therefore not suitable for KNS and pond chips/flakes). The ideal filter medium is Helix/Helix Plus. BK60: max. 150 liters of media, BK90: max. 350 liters of media.
